According to this engadget news, 14 companies recently signed up with the open handset alliance.

Seems that the bad economy has got people’s attention to the FREE stuff.

I don’t know what Bill Gates would think about this move after he expressed how much he dislikes the open source software in this article.

The question now is, what would Apple do to battle this Open Handset Alliance?
